I aim to capture the Soul within each Portrait as that's where the magic lays and can take me up to 20 hours to complete a single graphite portrait. I draw from a photograph, however the time I take to complete a project depends upon the complexity of the subject(s). Oil paintings may take me almost 30 hours.
